How to read the score
Tradition treats 18 of 36 as the minimum, 25 and above as strong. Nadi (8 points) and Bhakoot (7) carry the most weight, and most almanacs list exceptions that cancel those doshas. A guna score compares two Moons only — it says nothing about the rest of either chart, which is why astrologers read it as a first filter rather than a verdict.
